ELIGO HOMES was founded in February 2022, and is the subsidiary of Eligo Group. The inception of Eligo Homes was actually the result of a chain of serendipitous events. In 2018, the founder and president of Eligo Group, Senol Tasdelen, decided to build a 7000 sq ft custom home on his lot in Oakville, ON. He hired a builder to manage the construction. However, once the project started he was not satisfied with the performance of the builder due to lack of corporate management, quality control, documentation, and safety issues. As someone who had previously built many personal homes and had over 35 years of global business management experience, he decided to take matters into his own hands. He terminated the contract while the house was still at the framing stage, and decided to manage the project himself. In a year’s time, the house was completed with top quality materials and beautiful high-end finishes. This valuable experience led him to enter the construction industry in Canada.
